Install TiviMate from Google Play and add your details. The simplest of the guides, because the store is built in.

What you need before starting
- A device running Android TV or Google TV with Google Play working.
- Your home network connected to the device.
- The iptvfrostlight access details we sent you.
Check your model first
Every device in this family has Google Play, so the store is the reliable check.
- 1Open Settings on the device, then About or System, then About.
- 2Note the model name and the Android TV or Google TV version.
- 3Confirm Google Play opens and can reach the internet before installing anything.
The app to install
One recommendation per device. Where we could not verify an app for the platform, we say so rather than guessing.

TiviMate IPTV Player
Developer: Armobsoft FZE
Platform: Android TV & Google TV
- Free + paid unlock
- Checked 2 Nov 2026
- Why it suits this device
- Made for a television and a remote rather than a touchscreen, and it accepts the Xtream Codes details most subscriptions are issued with.
- What it costs
- Free to install. Extra features are unlocked by TiviMate’s own Premium in-app purchase; the price is shown in the store for your account.
- How you log in
- Xtream Codes: username, password and server address
- M3U playlist URL
- Stalker Portal details
- Before you install
- The developer states it is not optimised for phones or tablets. On Fire TV it is not in the Amazon Appstore, so it is installed from the official APK.
- Separately charged licence
- Premium is TiviMate’s own purchase. It unlocks app features only — it has no effect on your iptvfrostlight subscription.
Menu wording changes between app versions, so the steps name what to look for rather than quoting a button that may have been renamed.

Where each value goes
Username, password and server
Your access message contains three values. Each goes in one field, and all three must match exactly.
- Server address
- http://server.example.com:8080
- Keep the protocol and the port. Changing either is the most common reason a login fails.
- Username
- demo-user
- Usually lower case, and always case-sensitive.
- Password
- demo-pass
- Type it rather than pasting if you can, and check for a trailing space.
The example values above are fictional. Use only the details in your own access message.
M3U playlist link
One long link replaces the three values. Paste the whole thing into the playlist field — everything after the last slash belongs to it.
- Playlist URL
- http://server.example.com/get.php?username=demo-user&password=demo-pass&type=m3u
- A shortened link, or one with a missing part, will not load.
A playlist link can contain your username and password. Treat it exactly like a password: do not post it publicly and hide it in any screenshot you send us.
Portal address
Some apps and boxes use a portal instead of a username. The app asks for a portal or playlist address, and your access message supplies it.
- Portal address
- http://portal.example.com/c/
- Enter it exactly, including the trailing slash where one is given.
Only use a portal address we sent you.

Troubleshooting
Start with the symptom you see.
Work down each list in order. The first checks cost nothing and undo nothing, so they are always worth doing before anything more drastic.
If Google Play refuses the install, check the free storage on the device and the Google account signed in to Play.
Clearing cache is not clearing app data
Clearing the cache removes temporary files and keeps your login and settings. Clearing app data resets the app to a fresh install and can remove saved playlists, favourites and passwords. Reinstalling does the same. Try cache first, and expect to re-enter your details after anything stronger.
01I cannot find the appThe store does not list it, or the search returns something else.
- 1Confirm the app name and the developer name on our guide for your device. A similar name from a different developer is a different product.
- 2Check your device’s region and the store account signed in on it — stores show different catalogues by country.
- 3On a television, restart the TV and reopen the store once. A store that will not load cannot install anything.
- 4If the app is still absent, it is not published for your model year. Send us the model and we will confirm the alternative that is.
Do not install an APK from a search result or a third-party site. Only the developer’s own download is safe.
02My login is rejectedThe app refuses the username, password or server address.
- 1Re-type the details instead of pasting them. A trailing space is the most common cause.
- 2Match the server address exactly as sent, including http:// or https:// and any port after the colon.
- 3Check capitals in the username and password. Most are case-sensitive.
- 4Confirm your subscription is active and its term has not ended.
- 5Try the same details in the same app on another device you own, to see whether the details or the device are the problem.
If the app reports a device or connection limit, that is a plan limit rather than a wrong password.
03My playlist will not loadThe app accepts the details but the channel list never appears.
- 1Open the playlist link once on a computer on the same home network. That tells you whether the link works at all.
- 2Check that the whole link was copied, including everything after the last slash.
- 3Look for a limit message in the app. A second device using the same playlist can block the first.
- 4Give the app a minute on first load — it is downloading the channel and guide list.
- 5If the link works on a computer but not on the device, tell us the device model: some televisions cannot decode every format.
Treat a playlist link as a password. Do not send it in a public form, and hide it in screenshots.
04Channels load but a stream will not playThe list is there; one channel stays black or returns an error.
- 1Try three or four other channels. If only one fails, it is that channel rather than your setup.
- 2Try the same channel again a few minutes later. Some sources need a moment before they start.
- 3Note the exact on-screen error and the channel name.
- 4If every channel fails, treat it as a connection or account problem and use the playlist path above.
Catch-up, recording and 4K are app capabilities and channel capabilities at once — an app that supports them does not make every channel available in them.
05Video buffers or freezesPlayback stalls, drops quality or freezes for seconds at a time.
- 1Compare one device on Wi-Fi with one on a cable, if you can. Wired is the simplest way to rule the network out.
- 2Check whether other streaming apps in the house stall at the same time of evening.
- 3Move the device closer to the router, or switch it to the 5 GHz band.
- 4Restart the device once, then reopen the app.
- 5Tell us the time it happens and whether every channel behaves the same way.
We do not promise that a VPN or a DNS change will help. An extra hop usually makes a stream slower, not faster.
06Video has no soundThe picture plays but you hear nothing.
- 1Turn the volume up on both the device remote and the television remote — televisions often control two different volumes.
- 2Check the audio track chosen in the app, where the stream offers more than one language.
- 3Try another channel to see whether the silence follows the channel or the device.
- 4Check the television’s audio output setting if you use a soundbar or receiver.
One channel with no audio is usually that stream. Every channel with no audio is the device or the app.
07The programme guide is emptyChannels play, but no schedule appears beside them.
- 1Confirm the guide has had time to load — the first refresh can take several minutes.
- 2Refresh the guide inside the app rather than reopening it.
- 3Tell us the channel and the app, and we will confirm whether guide data is supplied for it.
- 4If the app vendor states it has no guide of its own, the schedule depends on the data we supply and may be limited.
An empty guide never means your subscription has stopped working.
08A second screen stops playingOne device plays; another is refused or disconnects.
- 1Check how many simultaneous screens your plan includes.
- 2Close the player fully on a device you are not using, rather than leaving it paused.
- 3Sign out of unused devices if the app keeps a session open.
- 4If the number of screens still seems wrong, tell us the devices and we will check what your plan allows.
Installing on several devices you own is fine. The limit is how many can watch at the same time.
