Payment, Activation and Renewal Policy

How payment is arranged, when a subscription starts, and what happens at the end of a term — including what this site does not do.

Effective 2 November 2026Last substantive update 2 November 2026

In short

  • Payment is arranged with our team in writing; this website has no checkout and takes no card details.
  • Your term starts when the access we issue is delivered, not when you first open an app.
  • Renewal is manual. There is no recurring billing and no stored payment method.
  • Player-app fees are paid to the app’s own vendor and are separate.

01What this page is for

This page sets out how payment is arranged, when a subscription starts, and what happens when a term ends. It is part of the Terms of Service. Where it says something is confirmed in writing, that written confirmation is what applies to your order.

02How payment is arranged

This website has no checkout. It does not take card details, does not store a payment method, and does not process payments itself. Plans and totals are agreed in an email conversation, and payment is then made using the method we confirm to you.

The payment methods we accept are confirmed with you in writing before you pay. We do not publish a list of methods here that we have not confirmed, because a method shown and then refused wastes your time.

We never ask for a card number, a banking password, a playlist link or a device key by email or through this website. If a message claiming to be from us does, treat it as fraudulent and tell us.

03Currency, amounts and taxes

All amounts are in Canadian dollars. The amount that applies is the total for your term, connections and taxes as confirmed in writing, not a monthly figure calculated on this site.

Whether applicable taxes are included in a quoted total is confirmed with you in writing before payment, together with the final amount. We do not describe a total as tax-inclusive unless it is.

04When an order counts as paid

An order is paid when the funds have actually cleared and been confirmed to us — not when a transfer is initiated or a receipt is generated by a payment app. If a transfer is pending, we tell you what we can see and when we expect to confirm it.

We do not begin activation on the strength of a screenshot alone unless we have confirmed the payment in our own account. If you need activation to start at a particular time, tell us first; we will confirm whether that is possible before you send money.

05How you receive your access details

Access details and the setup steps for your device are sent by email to the address used on the order. They are not displayed in a customer dashboard, because this site has no customer accounts.

Treat that email as confidential: it contains everything needed to watch on your subscription. If it reaches the wrong inbox because of a typo, tell us and we will reissue it after verifying the order.

06Activation time

We confirm the activation time for your order in writing before you pay. We do not claim instant activation, and we do not guarantee a fixed number of hours unless that has been confirmed to you for your order.

If you have not received anything within the period confirmed, write to us with the email address on the order. If activation fails and cannot be corrected, you may choose a corrected activation or a refund of that payment.

07Your start date

The term begins when the access details for your order are delivered, not when you first open a player app. Time spent choosing a device, installing an app or waiting for an app’s trial to end does not extend the term.

If you ask us to delay activation to a specific date before payment, and we confirm we can, the term begins on that date.

08Renewal and expiry

Renewal is manual. There is no recurring billing on this site, no stored card and no automatic charge when a term ends. To renew, you agree a new term and a new total with us and pay again.

When the term ends, access stops. If you renew after a gap, the new term starts when the new access is delivered; unused days are not carried over.

Where we hold a working email address we may send a reminder before expiry. That is a courtesy, not a guarantee, and the end date we confirmed to you is what counts.

09Separate player-app charges

A player app is a separate product with its own price, paid to its developer. Some apps charge a licence or activation fee; some offer a free tier with optional purchases. Those charges are not part of what you pay us and do not appear on our records.

We tell you before you install an app whether it charges separately, and we never present an app fee as if it were part of the subscription. Paying an app fee does not activate your subscription, and paying us does not unlock the app.

10If something is wrong with a payment

Write to us with the email address on the order, the date and amount you paid, and what looks wrong. Duplicate payments, amounts above the confirmed total and payments made when activation failed are corrected under the Refund and Cancellation Policy.

If a charge appears that you do not recognise at all, tell us before contacting your bank: it may be a payment for somebody else’s order made from a similar address, which we can usually resolve in one reply. If we cannot resolve it, use your card issuer’s dispute process — we will not treat that as a hostile act.
