Understanding simultaneous connections
What “screens” means on an IPTV plan, why it is priced separately from devices, and how to size it for a real household.
Screens are about watching at the same time
A simultaneous connection is one stream running at one moment. Two people watching two different things in two rooms use two connections, even if they are on the same television brand and the same home network.
Devices you own are unlimited in the sense that you can install the player on more than one — but only the number of connections included in your plan can watch at once.
Count the busiest evening, not the average
Think about the half hour when your household watches most. If two adults watch separate programmes while a child watches something else, that is three.
Sizing for the quietest evening is the most common way to end up disappointed, and upgrading mid-term may not always be possible.
Where the number is stated
The connection count belongs on the plan itself, not in a comparison table that changes. On iptvfrostlight, the included screens are listed with each duration and confirmed again in writing before payment.
If you need more than a plan allows, tell us before you pay and we will confirm what is possible for your household.
